I’ve been out for a couple of weeks, but I’ve been following the latest on AI thanks to YouTube.
This is why, in this article, I’d like to share with you the best YouTube channels to stay up to date with AI. These youtubers handpick the best AI news and create detailed tutorials on how to make the most of AI tools like ChatGPT.
Here are 6 YouTube channels I watch to stay up to date with AI. This list will be useful whether you’re a casual AI enthusiast or an experienced programmer.
P.S. I’m already preparing amazing content for the coming weeks!
1. Matt Wolfe: AI for non-coders
This is a fast-growing YouTube channel focused on artificial intelligence for non-coders. On this channel, you’ll find videos about ChatGPT, Midjourney, and any AI tool that it’s gaining popularity.
What I like about this channel is that it uploads videos almost every day with the latest on AI. The videos on this channel tend to be long, but they have a lot of good information. One of the most viewed videos on the channel is his Weekly AI News where he sums up everything that happened in the field over the week.
Also, Matt has a website FutureTools where he gathers all the AI tools out there and divides them into different categories so that we can find the best AI tools ourselves.
2. The AI Advantage: AI in plain English
The AI Advantage is a YouTube channel that will help you unlock your AI superpowers with small and long video tutorials mostly focused on ChatGPT and Midjourney.
What I like about this channel is that it gives you all the information you need in a few minutes (the 2-minute ChatGPT tutorial below is a good example). There are no extra words or fillers that don’t add value to the video, but it cuts to the chase.
3. The PyCoach: ChatGPT and Python tutorials
If you want to learn how to make the most of both ChatGPT and Python, you should subscribe to The PyCoach.
The PyCoach is a channel for those who want to learn Python for automation, data science, and more. What I like about this channel is that it uses ChatGPT as a coding assistant to automate tasks in Excel, web development, and data science. It also teaches you how to make the most of ChatGPT through prompt engineering techniques and the ChatGPT API.
If you’re into Python and ChatGPT, this channel is for you.
4. All About AI: ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion Tutorials
All About AI is a YouTube channel that has both technical and non-technical AI videos mostly about ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion.
What I like about this channel is that it has a lot of tutorials to make the most of AI tools. For example, you’ll find many prompt engineering videos to master ChatGPT and you could even learn how to use GPT-4 to create outstanding Midjourney prompts as shown below.
5. Fireship: Quick AI News
Although the main audience of this channel is developers, Fireship has lately been uploading quick AI videos that even those without programming knowledge could understand.
What I like about this channel is its “Code Reports,” which are quick and informative AI news. The storytelling is also good — it makes the 5 minutes of the video fly!
Here’s one of the most viewed videos on this channel. Did I also mention that the videos are funny?
If you have a favorite AI channel, let me know in the comments.!
